What is anti-aging?
Aging can be measured using known Biomarkers that signify
the expected aging progression. Anti-aging is a lifetime
program to slow, pause or reverse signs and symptoms
of that progression. Using these same Biomarkers we
can also measure the effectiveness of antiaging programs.
What Biomarkers are used?
Medical tests called Biomarkers include functional
and cellular level tests. Functional level tests include:
visual accommodation, auditory response, and memory
succession. We do a Cellular level tests may include
skin biopsies and biochemical tests for hormone and
cholesterol levels , and DNA for damage to hereditary
matter.
What is wellness?
Wellness is the holistic or total body, mind, spirit
approach to optimising health. Anti-aging incorporates
wellness but also goes beyond it to incorporate specific
high-tech procedures and treatments.
What is anti-aging medicine?
Anti-aging is a recognized medical subspecialty. Anti
aging medicine goes beyond the boundaries of conventional
medicine; the first board certification exam for anti-aging
physicians only took place in 1997.
Can you reverse the aging process?
Yes, in some areas. Studies using Human Growth Hormone
were shown to restore muscle loss, increase skin thickness,
reduce total body fat and improve bone density. Other
studies using anti aging medicine saw specific improvements
in skin tightness and moisture, mental speed and clarity,
enhanced sexual function, elevated mood and energy levels,

Are Anti Aging supplements approved by the U.S. Food
and Drug Administration?
All drugs used in anti aging are approved by the FDA.

What is involved in hormone replacement therapy?

balanced hormone replacement to restore hormone levels
to where they were in the persons early 30s. In many
cases, this can be done naturally with secretogogues,
which release the hormones already made by the body.

What results should I expect?
In most cases, an increase in energy is the most noticed
immediate result. It normally takes four to six months
for DNA to regenerate in the body, so any other changes
cannot be expected before this time.
How much does an AntiAging Program cost?
This depends upon how far you wish to go with the
program. A good complex supplement may only cost $25
a month. I also take HGH and glyconutrients, my total
monthly spend is more like $250 - $300 a month. It’s
a personal choice. I prefer to pay this amount in prevention,
rather than in life insurance policies.
Are the treatments covered by insurance?
Insurers are geared more toward treatment of disease
than preventive medicine. However, Physician consultation,
and some of the labs may be covered by insurance.
