NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS
The use of hormones as a part of nutrition is not a
common approach. But consider this - doesn't nourishing
your body means providing it with all the goodness it
needs to function properly?
Hormones are the chemicals that transmit the signals
from the brain throughout the body, to trigger key functions.
If your hormone levels are insufficient - at any age
- then your body is not functioning correctly.
A lot of press focuses on female hormone replacement
therapy post menopause. In reality, hormones start declining
from age 35, meaning your body signals are weakening
every year. So too, is your body chemistry and functioning
starting to decline.
And it is not just women. Males suffer also. Many male
'age-related' conditions are quite unnecessary. They
just need to monitor their hormone levels and maintain
them at the age 25 level. See more on male
andropause and male
hormone therapy.
Hormones
There are two main types of hormone treatment used
today:
HRT – oestrogren/progesterone
hormone replacement therapy often used to assist women
through menopause
